Navigating Medical Diagnoses
Women often carry unique and complex experiences when it comes to health—especially when navigating diagnoses that impact identity, hormones, body image, fertility, or long-term wellbeing.
My goal is to support you in making sense of what this diagnosis means for you—not just medically, but emotionally, mentally, and within the context of your life as a whole.
Together, we create space to:
Process the emotional impact of a diagnosis
Explore shifts in identity, body image, and self-trust
Navigate uncertainty and decision-making
Reconnect with your inner resilience and sense of agency
This is not just about coping—it’s about helping you feel more grounded, informed, and empowered as you move forward.
My Story
In addition to my professional training, I bring personal experience to this work.
I understand how vulnerable and complex it can feel to receive and live with a medical diagnosis. Because of this, I approach every session with deep compassion, sensitivity, and respect for your unique experience.
There is no “right” way to navigate this. You will be met exactly where you are.
Therapeutic Approach
I approach this work holistically, recognizing that a diagnosis affects the mind, body, and nervous system.
I am deeply committed to supporting women as they advocate for themselves within medical systems, rebuild trust with their bodies, and process the emotional weight of being dismissed, misunderstood, or overwhelmed- helping to redefine their relationship with health, healing, and self-worth.
Our work is to help you reconnect with your inner authority and feel more at home within yourself, even in the midst of uncertainty.
Drawing from evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and EMDR, alongside mindfulness, body awareness, and creative approaches, I tailor our work to meet your unique needs.
I will strive to:
Help you identify and gently challenge unhelpful or fear-based thought patterns
Support regulation of the nervous system during periods of stress or uncertainty
Encourage connection back to your body in ways that feel safe and supportive
Hold space for both the practical and emotional realities of your experience
