hi, i’m alex.

I believe that women are not meant to simply survive—we are meant to live fully, embodied, and empowered.

I specialize in helping women navigate stress, trauma, and their relationship with their bodies. Many of the clients I work with are thoughtful, capable individuals who have spent years caring for others but feel disconnected from themselves. These patterns often develop as ways of coping with difficult experiences, and therapy can help you understand them while building healthier ways of responding.

I graduated from Pratt University in 2013 with a Master’s degree in Art Therapy and Creativity Development. Shortly after, I moved to Thailand, where I gained experience working with disadvantaged populations and within substance abuse and eating disorder treatment settings. My time abroad greatly informed my personal and professional outlook and deepened my understanding of a holistic approach to healing.

Since returning to the United States in 2020, I have split my time between private practice and serving as Chief Operating Officer of two eating disorder treatment centers, which provides me with a comprehensive perspective on the continuum of care. My diverse experience allows me to work intuitively with clients, tailoring therapy to each individual’s needs and presentation.

My Approach

I utilize evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, and EMDR, and also integrate creative arts therapy, mindfulness, body awareness techniques, yoga, and Tension Release Exercises (T.R.E.) for clients who benefit from connecting more fully with their bodies. I frequently collaborate with dietitians, physicians, and other healthcare providers to support integrated, trauma-informed care.

Over time, my clients often experience reduced anxiety, a healthier relationship with food and their bodies, and a stronger sense of confidence and empowerment.

Isn’t it marvelous to discover that you’re the one you’ve been waiting for? That you are your own freedom?”
